Why invent Neocastilian?

Revision: June 10, 2001
Why am I doing this?
Well, why not? Maybe I have nothing better to do. This is important: one day I started thinking about how I could improve Spanish so that it wouldn't be so "difficult" to avoid spelling mistakes, to make it easier to create voice software, for a thousand things. Because many people start using k instead of qu and things like that on the internet, and honestly, it makes sense that they do. The goal of a language is to communicate, and the more information transmitted in less time, the more efficient that language and the use of the voice channel will be XD, while respecting in my case a minimum size corresponding to the letter-graph, although signs that are two or more letter-graphs could be created (like q to say, for example). But I prefer to respect the current size of words, so that the grapheme-to-phoneme transcription is the same. It's not the best compression, but it has its advantages.

Why did I choose Spanish?
Because, besides being my native language, it is a widely spoken language and, moreover, it is of the sign-sound type; that is, normally each sign that forms a word corresponds to a sound. It is an ideal language for use in computers that will need to speak, it even has defined accentuation rules that other languages lack, for example English.

Would you use your "neospanish"?
The truth is, I don't even know if I would be able to use what I'm inventing, but one thing is certain: it is easier and simpler than normal Spanish, while being practical. By knowing how a word sounds, you'll know how it's written.

Are you starting to hate me? XD
If you're starting to get nervous, if you think this is just nonsense, that I shouldn't even think about it, etc., etc., etc., don't keep reading. I'm not going to come to your house to tell you to speak like this; I absolutely don't care if Spanish changes someday or not. It's just one of many ideas I have and that I felt like sharing with people, and if you don't like it, don't read it.
